Woodland Archery  60min/90min

Enjoy an Archery Experience like no other! After brief but thorough instruction, you are guided along woodland paths to the fantastical target zones dotted through the woods. Will you come across the Dinosaur zone, or maybe the Dragon's Lair? Watch out for the Creepy Graveyard though! And be sure to enjoy the Scottish myths and legends in the Mystical Highland Glen. Whichever pathway, our ArcheryGB qualified Instructors remain with you throughout, offering guidance and extra challenges should you wish!

Archery can be combined with other activities for bespoke group sessions or try one of our special edition events like the Haggis Guardian Adventure, featuring a fun themed story filled with Scottish myths. We also offer the Longbow Experience and, in winter, cosy Coorie Sessions with archery, hot chocolate, and whittling by the fire.

The woodland areas are accessible to wheelchair users and have seating at each shooting area. For those needing additional support, our Archery+ Instructors provide assisted sessions—please contact us ahead of booking. Dogs are welcome as long as they are kept on a short lead throughout.

Minimum age for Woodland Archery is 8 years. We have small groups of 6 people, we can accommodate larger groups just get in touch. Minimum of 2 must participate, however we welcome solo adults - please contact us direct to book onto a session. Under 10’s must be accompanied by a participating adult; under 18’s require adult supervision. 60mins (£26.50pp) 90mins (£34pp) A booking fee may be applied. 

Fun Target Archery  60min

Join us on our Woodland Archery Range, and enjoy one of the most recognised forms of archery. As a registered ArcheryGB Activity Provider our fully qualified instructors help you learn the basics and fine tune your technique, as you shoot arrows at paper targets. Fun for all the family from age 7yrs upwards. Great for big groups or add this to another activity to form your own bespoke adventure. People with disabilities are always welcome and there is easy access from car park to Archery Range. 

This session is suitable for complete beginners looking for a fun Archery session. If you require something a little EXTRA then take a look at the Woodland Archery, Haggis Guardian or to take your Archery up to the next level try booking the new Introduction to Archery or the Longbow Experience. 

Minimum age for this fun Target Archery Session is 7yrs and a preferred minimum of *two people is required to run this session. Under 10’s must be accompanied by a participating adult, under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.  *Solo visitors please contact us direct to be included in any of the 60 minute Activity sessions. £20pp. A Booking Fee may apply.

Bow and Axe  1h40

Experience double the fun in the woods with a combined Archery and Axe Throwing session! Spend about an hour with Woodland Archery—shooting arrows at dinosaur and zombie targets—then move to the Axe Throwing area for the final 40 minutes. Our fab instructors stay with you throughout to teach technique and support you to try various types of axes. See if you can master both activities and claim the title of Warrior in the Woods or win a seat on the Chieftain’s Throne of Glory.

This session is suitable for beginners, and wheelchair accessible; let us know about accessibility needs when booking. For groups (corporate, stag/hen, birthdays), contact us to customise your Adventure! Maybe add the adrenaline pumping Combat Archery. If you are looking to enhance your skills further, book the Introduction to Archery, Longbow Experience, or a 60-minute Axe Throwing session.

Minimum age: 12 years; at least two participants needed per session. Under 16s must have a participating adult; under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Families with younger children can arrange archery-only participation. Price: £42pp plus possible booking fee.

Axe Throwing  45min/60min

Experience Axe Throwing in the woods with guidance from qualified instructors who will teach and refine your technique. Take part in challenges and competitions, try different axes, and aim for a place on the Chieftains Throne of Glory.

This session suits complete beginners and is wheelchair accessible—please inform us of any disabilities when booking so we can assign the appropriate team. For larger groups such as corporate events, stag/hen, or birthdays, contact us to add activities like Target Archery, Bushcraft, or Combat Archery for a customised adventure.

The minimum age is 12, with at least two participants required per session. Under 16s must have an adult participate, under 18s can be accompanied by an adult. Sessions are 45 minutes (£20pp) or 60 minutes (£22pp); a booking fee may apply.

Outdoor Mystery Escape Game 60min

The Curse of the Golden Squirrel

Compete against the clock with family and friends as you solve puzzles in a deserted Archaeologist's base camp. Track clues to find a hidden journal, uncover the Golden Squirrel, and maybe even lift the Curse before time runs out. The game features logic, pattern, and scavenger puzzles—plus some reading—but no screens or apps are required. Hints are available from a team member if needed. Suitable for 2–6 players aged 14 and up, with a certificate for everyone completing. There are options to add Woodland Archery or Axe Throwing to enhance your experience. We recommend between 45mins - 1h15 for this session. £24pp - group discounts!

Combat Archery

Play against family, friends and colleagues in this steady paced game of offense and defence in our woodland arena, using trees for cover. Choose your team wisely, play it tactical and shoot specially engineered safety arrows at your opposition. Watch out for the whistle as the games are short and sweet to keep you on your toes. Safety equipment is provided - full safety helmet, chest protection, armguard and finger guard (bring your own groin protection if desired) and we welcome players aged 12years and over. Minimum of 8 people are required to play so invite your people, your tribe, your posse, ask yourself "Who has got your back?!". 60mins (£20pp) and 90mins (£22pp). 

There are options to add Woodland Archery and/or Axe Throwing to enhance your experience and make this into a longer multi-activity session. Larger groups welcome.

Bushcraft / Woodland Activities  3hr

Learn how to build a shelter, track and identify animals, safe foraging and so much more in our friendly, easy paced session of basic survival. Conservation and wildlife play a huge part in our woodland adventures and we invite you to share this special time. So come and see who lives in our woodland and meet red squirrels, possible Boris and Doris the badgers, maybe spot pine marten tracks and witness the huge amount of bird and insect life. Photographers welcome! This 3hr session is suitable for adults, families and friends, we have a mini version (2h15) for just children or those with tight time restrictions. We teach safe fire lighting and extinguishing, with our specially made fire pit and we invite marshmallow toasting, as well as introducing you to the calm of whittling. This is a special session as we don't just focus on the woods around us but we give you time to immerse yourself so you feel the benefit. Minimum 3 people, maximum of 12. Contact us if your group size is bigger. There are options to add Woodland Archery and/or Axe Throwing to enhance your experience and make this a multi-activity adventure. Minimum age of 7yrs, all children under 12 must have an adult participating.  £30pp

Haggis Guardian  1h45

This experience is like no other and you will never forget this incredible moment in our Highland woodland as we incorporate some of our magical myths and legends.

Major Shenanigans! The protected Highland Haggis have escaped from their sanctuary within our mystical Highland Glen. Step into the role of a Haggis Guardian as you track, protect and guide these legendary creatures safely back where they belong. Each woodland zone presents a new challenge as you work together to outsmart the Haggis predators, solve problems, and complete your Guardian Mission with a souvenir certificate. 

Minimum 3 people, maximum of 8. Minimum age 8yr. An adult must participate with child under 12. £40pp. Family Discounts

Longbow Experience  2hrs

Take a step back in time and enjoy a leisurely but fascinating session learning the art of the Longbow. Our traditional Archery Instructors help you to master the technique and relive times gone by. As your confidence and knowledge grows you will soon be shooting wooden arrows, off the hand, from a range of marked and unmarked distances, including an opportunity to shoot longer distance. All equipment is provided for your safety and is in keeping with the traditional sport - some of the equipment may be leather and natural feathers are used as fletchings. This session requires moderate fitness due to the woodland trail, however although the bows are replica long/war bows they are not so heavy to draw back that you become uncomfortable, so this is a unique opportunity to fine tune your archery skills and enjoy one of the oldest sports in our human history. This is not a session for complete beginners. Minimum of two people and a maximum of 6. Minimum age 14yr. Any children must have an adult participating also. This 2 hour experience is £52pp. Outlander fans are welcome, however we do advise you to start with Woodland Archery if you have never tried archery before.
